Welcome

Sleeping in It Heidenskip is enjoying peace and space in the free Frisian nature. We have a six-person holiday home, a 2-room apartment and a B&B apartment, located in the countryside between the Frisian lakes and the IJsselmeer. There is a playground in our yard and there are animals such as chickens, ponies and a goat.

It Heidenskip

It Heidenskip is a small village, located under the Eleven City town of Workum. It Heidenskip is known for its fierljeppen (pole vault), its multiple world champions tug of war and the famous book "De Oerpolder" by writer Hylke Speerstra.

Frisian lake district

Our accommodations are located between the Frisian lakes and the IJsselmeer. You can still enjoy clean air and unspoiled nature here. The wetland environment produces a rich flora and fauna. In addition, it offers countless recreational opportunities.

Location

Friesland is famous for its 11 city tours, among other things. A few Frisian cities are within walking and cycling distance. Especially in the spring, "The Tour of Tours" is ridden here on, among other things, the bicycle, by step, by canoe, by motorbike, with historic cars and even swimming!
